Hotel Praia Dourada

Originally we planned to stay one night, but the flight was cancelled due to bad weather. As soon as we knew we need to come back from the airport, we called and they were waiting for us with new cleaned rooms. The recepcion hospitality and assistance was perfect, everybody was friendly. Due to another cancellation and rain we had to stay in the hotel lobby all day, nobody complained about it. The rooms we had were clean, with comfortable beds. The bar (Colombo) next to the swimming pool is great, making fresh ponchas. We rented scooters, we could leave them in front of the hotel. All the recepcionist were really helpful, they found a taxi for us before the drivers working hours, all our problems/requests were handled well and fast. we had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was decent, very basic, rolls, bread, cereal, meat & cheese, no eggs, pancakes, or waffles. Location on the other hand was amazing with excellent, friendly staff. The hotel was also spotless, very clean; you could eat off the floors!

Breakfast was continental, plenty of choice , ideal to set you up for the day , constantly topped up and lots attentive staff

The price, the location, housekeepers very competent. Games room , swimming pool, and good wifi and tv channels

Walking distance to beach and all amenities. Staff were very helpful. Room had air conditioning.
